1. Scope and who we are
This Privacy Policy applies to hovership.com, Hovership public tracking experiences, Hovership Delivery services, customer and recipient communications, and the Hovership driver application. Hovership Logistics is the business responsible for the practices described here. A shipper may also provide recipient information to Hovership so we can perform a requested delivery.
A separate customer agreement may contain additional terms for a shipper's account or delivery program. This policy does not replace those contractual privacy and security terms.
2. Information we collect

We collect information directly from you, from Hovership customers and delivery personnel, automatically from devices and browsers, and from service providers that help us operate the site and business.
3. Website technologies and choices
Necessary technology supports security, forms, navigation, and storage of your privacy preference. On ordinary public pages, PostHog may load unless an Analytics opt-out or supported Do Not Track signal applies. RB2B and ZoomInfo may load unless a business-identification opt-out or supported Global Privacy Control signal applies. None of these technologies load on public tracking, shipment-detail, or related API pages.
- PostHog provides public-site analytics unless you opt out or a supported Do Not Track signal is active. It may receive bounded page paths, controlled acquisition source and medium values, a registered opaque Hovership campaign ID and its registry-derived label, approved interaction events, coordinate-only heatmaps, browser and device categories, performance measurements, and scrubbed error diagnostics. Session replay remains disabled unless separately reviewed and released.
- RB2B provides business-identification technology that may associate an eligible public-site visit with a business. It does not load on public tracking or shipment-detail pages, and Hovership blocks it when a supported Global Privacy Control signal is present.
- ZoomInfo WebSights provides business-identification and marketing analytics unless you opt out or a supported Global Privacy Control signal is active.
- Web3Forms and hCaptcha process contact-form submissions and help prevent abuse.
- Cloudflare Turnstile helps protect support-chat sessions when chat is enabled.
- Cloudflare provides site security and delivery services and may route approved PostHog analytics through a Hovership-controlled endpoint.
- Mapbox provides maps for supported live-tracking experiences.
Hovership does not send names, contact-form content, tracking numbers, chat content, delivery details, or protected health information to PostHog. General DOM autocapture is disabled. Heatmaps retain only scrubbed page coordinates. Any session replay is masked, sampled, and enabled only after privacy testing.
Hovership does not sell personal information for money.
Business-identification technologies may constitute “sharing” under some state privacy laws. You can change your browser-level selection on thePrivacy Choices page, useRB2B's vendor-level opt-out, or use a supported Global Privacy Control signal to keep these technologies off.
Public tracking pages and tracking pages reached through recipient authorization links do not load PostHog or optional marketing technologies, even when a choice is already stored.

4. How we disclose information
We may disclose information to:
- service providers that host, secure, analyze, support, or communicate on our behalf;
- Hovership-managed delivery operations and selected integrated delivery partners when needed to perform a shipment;
- a shipper, recipient, or authorized account user connected to a shipment;
- professional advisers, insurers, auditors, and financing or transaction counterparties under appropriate obligations; and
- government authorities or other parties when required by law, needed to protect rights and safety, or necessary to investigate fraud and abuse.
Hovership Logistics remains the delivery provider and point of accountability for shipments purchased through Hovership Delivery, including when disclosed partner-enabled fulfillment is used.
5. Text messages
Hovership sends transactional text messages about a specific shipment we are delivering — for example, that a package is out for delivery, has been delivered, or that a delivery attempt was made. We do not send marketing, promotional, or solicitation text messages.
A mobile number reaches us in one of two ways. A shipper collects the number and the recipient's agreement to receive delivery texts when an order is placed, then provides both to Hovership so we can perform the delivery. Or a recipient provides the number directly to a Hovership representative, who reads the consent disclosure before messages are enabled.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
All of the categories described in this policy exclude text-messaging originator opt-in data and consent. That information is never shared with any third party, and it is never sold.
Message frequency varies by shipment. Message and data rates may apply. ReplySTOP to any Hovership message to stop delivery texts, orHELP for help. A STOP request is honored immediately and applies to every shipper whose packages we deliver to that number, not only the shipment that prompted it. Agreeing to receive texts is never a condition of purchase or of delivery.
Mobile numbers and messaging consent are handled by the telecommunications providers that transmit our messages, solely so those messages can be delivered. They may not use the information for any other purpose.
6. Retention
We keep each category of information only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purpose collected, an active business or delivery relationship, dispute resolution, security, accounting, insurance, and legal requirements. Retention varies by record type and customer agreement. Driver location associated with active delivery operations is generally retained for 30 days unless a longer period is required for a delivery record, safety review, dispute, or legal obligation.
When information is no longer required, we delete it, de-identify it, or securely isolate it until deletion is practical.
7. Your privacy rights
Depending on where you live, you may have rights to know or access personal information, correct it, delete it, receive a portable copy, opt out of certain sharing or targeted advertising, and appeal a decision. We will not discriminate against you for exercising a privacy right.
Submit a request by emailing support@hovership.comor calling (855) 599-9905. Describe the request and the relationship or shipment involved. We may need to verify your identity and authority before completing access, correction, deletion, or portability requests. An authorized agent may submit a request where permitted by law.

8. Security, children, and changes
We use administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information. No system can guarantee absolute security, so recipients should protect private tracking links and account users should protect their credentials.
Hovership's website and commercial delivery services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly use the site to sell or share their personal information.
We may update this notice as our services and legal obligations change. The date above shows the latest revision. Material changes will be communicated when required.
